My BOXYCHARM Favorites and Beauty Staples

As you can imagine 5 full size products a month can add up. Because there is a variety of items in my box from eyeliner, lashes, make-up palettes, lipstick, lip-gloss, lip repair, blush, eyeshadow palettes, make-up brushes, serums, skin creams….and the list goes on and on. I can never have enough of any of these items. Occasionally, I’ll gather up what I don’t use or will not need and give to a lovely in my life. Share the love!

Skincare

I have sensitive-dry skin. I have to be very particular about what products on use on my face. I am impressed with the items I receive as they are tailored to my skin type and skin preferences.

Cleanser

GLOW Supercleanse – I use this after wearing a full face of make-up all day or when I need a good deep cleansing. I adore the lavender color and minty smell. It goes on smooth and leaves behind a cool feeling on my skin. An advanced cleanser with a powerful blend of three charcoals to detoxify skin by removing pore-clogging debris, excess oil, and face makeup.
ELEMIS Superfood Cleansing Foam – This is a very light foamy cleaner with a citrus smell and cool aftermath. I normally use this in the shower after a workout. Packed with fermented Superfoods and formulated with Micellar Technology, this soothing foaming cleanser easily removes all traces of makeup and impurities, leaving the complexion looking calm, balanced and fresh.

Moisturizer

• STUDIOMAKEUP Tinted Moisturizer – This is my go-to everyday make-up. Its sheer enough to leave a natural finish but tinted enough to even skin tone. The moisturizer leaves my skin with a glow. Whether you’re wearing it alone as a moisturizer or doing a full makeup routine, the Tinted Moisturizer can be used to provide hydration with light coverage. It truly smells like bananas. I use this at home when I feel like pampering myself before bed. Other times, it’s the perfect travel size bottle that I take with me on all my travels. A soothing, lightweight moisturizer that resets, replenishes, and seals in a boost of lasting hydration without clogging pores, for all skin types, even acne-prone skin. It is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic, making it especially good for sensitive skin.

Eye Cream

• TARTE Wink of H2O Vegan Collogen Eye Cream – The small jar also has SEA written on it. It’s blue like the sea and feels like cool refreshing water as you massage it under and around the eyes. If feels like an espresso shot for your under eyes! I apply this in the day or the evening. A vegan, skin-loving eye cream that reduces the appearance of puffiness and dark circles for a refreshed, youthful look. The weightless, water-based formula gives a lifted effect and is clinically proven to deliver 24-hour hydration. 
• SYMBIOSIS LONDON De-puffing & Dark Circles Relief Eye Serum – I use this when I feel like I need major eye relief. If my eyes are a little puffier than normal or after a long day I apply before bed. This weightless, high potency eye serum aims to soothe and renew fatigued eyes that have been marked by puffiness and dark circles, resulting in a calmer, rejuvenated eye area. Symbiosis De-puffing & Dark Circles Relief Eye Serum is infused with hydrating and anti-ageing ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid, R.N.A. and Collagen and absorbs quickly into the skin helping to leave the eye area feeling silky smooth.
• KATE SOMERVILLE ExfloliKate® Glow Moisturizer – This is a miracle product. I was lucky to try it out for an entire month and saw immediate results! I use this day or night. As a base under my make-up or included in night-time skin routine, this moisturizer is a winner! Revive dull, dry, lackluster-looking skin with Kate’s ExfoliKate® Glow Moisturizer. Powerhouse ingredients remove dead surface skin cells while smoothing fine lines and wrinkles to reveal younger-looking skin.

Serum

• KATE SOMERVILLE Bio-Mimicking Peptides Serum – It took a bet on this serum by adding a drop to my moisturizer in the evenings. I didn’t notice immediate results. But after about a month of use, maybe once or twice a week, I was sad after I ran out. It made my skin feel firm and renewed. A high-performance concentrate with a signature blend of five peptides that work together to refresh and renew skin as it firms, smooths, and hydrates.
• DERMELECT COSMECEUTICALS Outcrease Retinol Trifecta Serum – I have eczema, so over stripping my skin with Retinol treatments can be dangerous. Surprisingly this retinol resulted in very little peeling. It’s almost the consistency of an oil. I only use it once a week or every two weeks. Outcrease is successfully formulated with three types of Retinol to effectively target the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, thick skin and sun damage.

Make-Up

Eyes

• TARTE Shape Tape™ Glow Wand (Auroral) – I’m a sucker for sheer and vibrant concealer. This goes on so smooth and blends in perfectly with my dark skin. It leaves behind a natural glow that I love. This is my everyday concealer/highlight shade. Sheer liquid brighteners let your skin come through to deliver a natural, lit-from-within youthful glow. Diamond Complex™ delivers a soft-focus finish. 
• ACE BEAUTE’ Falling For You Palette – I love a neutral eye shadow palette that has a variety of colors and shades. I grad this palette when I want to add a little extra to my look. The Falling For You Palette represents some of your most favorite things about the fall season. Each color has been carefully milled and pressed to provide the easiest application and the most excellent color pay off.
• DOMINIQUE COSMETICS Celestial Thunder Palette – This is my fun! palette. I pull this out for performances or a night out on the town. Celestial Thunder is an explosion of vivid pigments, shadows, and glittery foils with 8 uniquely formulated shades for a creative colorful eye look or a simple pop of electric color. These vibrantly made shades tell a cosmic story and bring the universe to life.
• NATASHA DENONA Camel Palette – This is my no make-up, make-up everyday palette. When I want to be minimal yet have a finished and look fresh. A 5-pan palette featuring Natasha’s essential everyday warm-toned eye pigments that she mixes and matches from her favorite palettes—all reorganized and wrapped into one! Composed of both creamy matte and metallic formulas from the cult classic Biba, Safari, and Sunrise eyeshadow palettes, you’ll find yourself reaching for this all season long. 
• TYNT BEAUTY Last + Brow Duo – LASH + BROW DUO conveniently simplifies the endless search for both Mascara and Brow Gel in the abyss that is your makeup bag. One side Mascara and the other Brow gel. The Mascara is bomb! Created with a smooth oil rich formula with strong color payoff, leaving your lashes thicker without clump, giving off longer and naturally fuller looking lashes. The Brow Gel is fine and creamy in texture leaving just enough color to achieve natural hair-like strokes of color for fuller and well-defined brows. I don’t use the brow gel as the brown is too light of a shade for my dark brown brows.
• ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Norvina® Lashes – Premium-quality lashes that provide comfortable wear and deliver maximum impact. Provides up to 5 wears.

Face

• GEORGETTE KLINGER Marula Primer – This is my new favorite primer. It has a gel-like consistency but goes on smooth and leaves skin nourished. Combining this with my liquid make-up base, whether tinted moisturizer or foundation, it blends perfectly, and leaves my skin looking flawlessly sheer. Just how I like it. Blur imperfections and ensure an all-day radiant finish. Hydrating and long-wearing, it cushions skin with advanced Hyaluronic Acid, ensuring silky-smooth makeup application that won’t settle into pores, fine lines, or dry areas. A nourishing blend of Marula Oil and Vitamins A, E, F, and B locks in moisture and protects against visible signs of aging. Ideal for all oil and silicone-based foundation formulas.
• SKINFIX Resurface+ AHA/BHA Enzyme Exfoliating Pads – I use these as a refresher in the morning after a nice deep cleanse the night before. • TOUCH IN SOL Pretty Filter Glowdient Make Palette (Highlight) – At first glance I didn’t think this highlighter palette would do anything for my dark skin other than make me look ashy. But low and behold, each shade combination has its own mood. Sometimes I mix the shades or go in with a light dusting of the golden highlight for my no make-up, make-up days. A multi face palette with gorgeous gradient shades that uses your own natural beauty to glisten, bronze, and add the perfect flirty flush.
• MAVEN BEAUTY Rose Water Setting Spray – This setting spray does exactly what it says. For a full beat that needs to last all day, this spray is a winner. Set your intentions and your makeup with this aura-lifting, antioxidant-packed Rose Water Setting Spray. Mist all over your finished look to lock it down and prevent smudging for up to 16 hours.

Lips

• ALAMAR COSMETICS Limited Edition DesNUDEAs Lipgloss (Birthday Suit) – This is my favorite lip gloss of all times!! It’s the perfect sheer shade with a hint of pink. Reminds me of cotton candy nail polish from OPI. Remember that? It smells like coconut and lasts for hours. Alamar offers a high shine finish with medium coverage. Hydrating and ultra-long lasting. 
• DOSE OF COLORS Lip Gloss Duo – An ultra-glossy non-sticky formula with a unique smooth feel. Can be worn alone or over any lipstick.
• MELLOW COSMETICS Lip Gloss (Tropez) – I received this most recently. I use it to enhance my nude lip. So far, I’m enjoying it. Get ready to spice up your lips! This ultra-glossy, non-sticky formula has a uniquely smooth feel. It can be worn alone or over any lipstick, with the added goodness of Vitamin E and Avocado Oil. The St Tropez shade is the perfect mauve, and it’s cruelty-free, vegan, and paraben-free!

Most definitely worth it! For $27.99/month I received over $1K worth of skincare and beauty products. I didn’t list half of what I received over the course of a year. I am very pleased with my BOXYCHARM Basic Box.
